The parties also discussed the project’s next stages of development. Hayrapetyan said the strategic project implemented by Firebird is of major importance for Armenia’s technological development and international competitiveness, creating new opportunities for the research community, startups, high-tech companies and the public sector. The first phase of the project involves $500 million in investment and includes 6,144 NVIDIA Blackwell-generation graphics processing units (GPUs). Upon completion of the second phase, total investment is expected to reach around $5 billion, with the deployment of an additional 42,000 GPUs.
