Dinamo to represent Armenia in World Clubs Cup
Dinamo Wrestling Club is preparing for Greco-Roman World Wrestling Clubs Cup to take place in Tehran.
Head coach of the team Arsen Makvetsyan told Mediamax Sport that they had prepared for the tournament for about a month.
“We worked in 2 teams. The young men from Gyumri trained in their town and we tried our best in Yerevan. Then we gathered in Yerevan and started the training camp. The sportsmen are young, many of them performed very well in Clubs Cups in Germany and France, as well as in U23 European Championship. We have had a tournament recently in Yerevan, at the end of which we determined the final composition of the team,” Makvetsyan said.
The Armenians athletes to participate in the upcoming competition are Rudik Mkrtchyan (55kg), Murad Harutyunyan (60kg), Slavik Galstyan (63kg), Aleksan Mikaelyan (67kg), Armen Hakobyan (72kg), Argishti Abgaryan (82kg), Gegham Torgomyan (87kg), Vagharshak Minasyan (97kg) and Edgar Khachatryan (130kg).
