LONG-TERM LIVE-IN NANNY / CAREGIVER NEEDED - Անհրաժեշտ է դայակ / խնամակալ՝ տանը մնալու պայմանով (երկարաժամկետ) - Toluca Lake, CA

We are a warm, family-oriented Armenian household in Toluca Lake looking for an experienced, trustworthy, Armenian-speaking live-in nanny/caregiver to join our family on a long-term basis (minimum 2 years).

We are looking for someone who is responsible, nurturing, dependable, experienced with children, and extremely attentive to safety and detail. This person will become an important and trusted part of our household, so we are looking for someone who takes their responsibilities very seriously.

ABOUT OUR CHILDREN

We currently have one little boy who is 1 year and 10 months old, and we are expecting our second baby, a newborn, in November.

Our son attends preschool from approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and I will handle all drop-offs and transportation.

During the day, the primary responsibility will be caring for our newborn while I am at work. I will be home for the first 3 months of our baby girl's life. After that, I will be returning to work, and the caregiver will be responsible for providing full-time care for our newborn during the day.

We are specifically looking for someone with substantial newborn AND toddler experience.

SCHEDULE & DAYS OFF

The position is Monday through Saturday.

The caregiver's weekly day off will be Sunday at 9:00 AM through Monday at 9:00 AM.

This is a live-in position, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable with and committed to this schedule on a long-term basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loving, attentive, and safe care of our newborn throughout the day

• Following feeding, nap, diapering, and daily routines

• Taking the baby on daily walks and age-appropriate outings

• Engaging the children in appropriate activities, reading, play, tummy time, etc.

• Helping maintain a consistent and healthy routine

• Light household cleaning and tidying related to the children

• Baby and toddler laundry + ironing

• Preparing dinner for the children (must know how to cook Armenian dishes)

• Keeping the children's areas clean and organized

• Helping with small daily household tasks

• Working cooperatively with our family — we all contribute to the daily chores

• Maintaining a very high standard of cleanliness, organization, and safety

We have a house cleaner who comes once a week, so this is not a heavy housekeeping position.

No driving is required. I will handle all transportation and grocery shopping.

 SAFETY & EXPERIENCE ARE OUR TOP PRIORITIES

We are a very safety-conscious household and take precautions seriously.

The ideal candidate must have strong, proven experience caring for newborns and toddlers, understand child safety, be attentive and proactive, and be comfortable following parents' instructions and routines carefully.

We are looking for someone we can fully trust with our children and our home, including being comfortable leaving the caregiver with the children while we are working or traveling.

References and verifiable childcare experience are strongly preferred.

LIVING ARRANGEMENTS

We live in a beautiful 3-bedroom condo in the Toluca Lake area.

The caregiver will have:

• Their own private bedroom

• Their own walk-in closet

• Their own private bathroom
