Job Description:

We are an established home health care agency seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Intake & Insurance Authorization Coordinator. This role involves managing new patient intake, verifying insurance, and communicating with insurance companies, physicians’ offices, patients, and internal staff.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicates clearly, and can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include:

New patient intake from referral to admission
Insurance verification and follow-up
Communication with insurance companies, physicians’ offices, and patients
Accurate documentation and coordination with office and clinical teams

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
Minimum 2 years Home health care experience strongly required
Experience with insurance authorizations for home health is a strong plus
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
