Job Description:

A growing freight brokerage looking for a hungry, relationship-driven Freight Salesperson to help us expand our shipper base and move freight nationwide. This is a full-time, in-office role in Burbank, CA. You’ll source and win new shipper accounts, build long-term relationships, and work closely with operations to deliver reliable service.

What you’ll do

Prospect and close new shipper accounts (phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals)
Build and manage a pipeline, run outreach campaigns, and book qualified meetings
Quote lanes, negotiate rates, and set expectations with customers
Sell and manage freight services: TBD (dry van / reefer / flatbed / power-only)
Coordinate internally to ensure smooth pickup/delivery and strong communication
Maintain accurate notes and activity in CRM / spreadsheets
Grow accounts through consistent follow-up, service, and problem-solving

Job Requirements:

What we’re looking for

Strong communication and negotiation skills
Comfortable making 50–100+ calls/day and handling objections
Sales mindset: competitive, disciplined, consistent follow-through
Organized and responsive (fast replies matter in freight)
Experience: TBD (freight/logistics sales experience is a plus brokerage, carrier sales, dispatch)

Compensation

Base salary + commission (range: TBD)
Option for commission-only for proven closers
Performance bonuses available
Clear growth path based on results

Schedule / Location

In-office only – Burbank, CA
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
