ASAP Hiring Experience Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Drivers – Wheelchair & Ambulatory&Gurney Services - Burbank, CA

Assist patients with safe loading and unloading.
Properly operate and secure the gurney and all required safety equipment.
Safely transfer and position patients according to company procedures and training.
Maintain patient comfort, dignity, and privacy throughout the trip.
Follow assigned pickup and drop-off schedules.
Communicate with dispatch regarding trip status, delays, cancellations, and patient needs.
Complete all required trip and transportation documentation.
Perform daily vehicle and equipment safety inspections.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized vehicle.
Follow all company safety policies and applicable transportation requirements.
Qualifications

Valid California driver's license.
Clean and acceptable driving record.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to safely assist patients with mobility needs.
Ability to lift, move, and secure a medical gurney as required by the position.
Must be able to pass required background and driving-record checks.
Must meet company requirements for drug/alcohol screening, if applicable.
